The International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) offers postdoctoral fellowships to young scientists from developing countries (other than Pakistan) who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in organic chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular medicine, pharmacology or physical chemistry. The duration of the fellowships is six to twelve months. Subject areas range across the physical and natural sciences, including agricultural sciences. ICCBS will provide a monthly stipend to cover living costs, food, and health insurance. The deadline for receipt of applications is 30 June 2023. TWAS-ICCBS Postdoctoral Fellowship

The U.S. Government seeks an implementing partner to develop and manage a small grants program to increase public participation in reducing plastic pollution and improving management of plastic waste across the lifecycle of plastics. The U.S. Government welcomes applications from U.S.-based and foreign non-profit organizations, institutions of higher education, and for-profit organizations or businesses. The Global Good Fund Fellowship is a 12-month leadership development program for young social entrepreneurs who remain in their workplaces. Each fellow is offered mentoring; resources for leadership assessment; a peer network; and financial support. Past fellows represent enterprises for agriculture; environment; solar energy; and other green development. The program is open to applications worldwide. Candidates should be under age 40. The U.S. Department of State makes grants to incentivize support and help build sustainable communities in Panama and Costa Rica through the development of small to medium-sized business enterprises supported by small business development centers. Track one will focus on developing sustainable tourism for economic development. Track two will focus on workforce development which includes agriculture sectors. The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering accepts nominations of ground-breaking innovations in engineering from all around the world which have been of benefit to humanity. In the scope of the Terra Viva Grants Directory, this may include innovations in the fields of sustainable energy, water management and/or agriculture. The winner will receive £500 thousand to advance their project. Self nominations are not permitted. The closing date to submit nomination(s) is 14 July 2023. Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering

The Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement grants US$250 thousand to recognize exceptional accomplishments in environmental science, energy, or medicine. The Tyler Prize can be awarded to living individuals or public or private institutions anywhere in the world. Several past prize winners have been distinguished in scientific and technical areas such as the global nitrogen cycle, global biodiversity assessments, wastewater treatment in developing countries, and others relevant to the link between environment and development. The Women of the Future Awards Southeast Asia showcases regional emerging leaders to encourage, motivate and provide role models for future female Asian leaders. The Awards are open to women aged 35 or under. Candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, or Myanmar. All shortlisted candidates will be invited to join our Women of the Future global community and receive a complimentary place to attend the 2023 WOF Awards Southeast Asia. The African European Digital Innovation Bridge (AEDIB) program is an EU/Horizon2020-funded initiative, aiming to accelerate the growth of African startups with disruptive solutions in Climate Smart Agriculture, Smart Cities, Digital Trade or Clean Tech. Companies get visibility with investors throughout the selection and interview process. Finalists receive mentorship and technical advice directly from the angel investors. Eligibility extends to for-profit companies with a product or service available on the market. At least one of the founders needs to have an African nationality from Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, or Uganda. The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Pakistan. The priorities under this call include one on environment and climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as on water management. The average contribution is C$30 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions.
