European Commission — Promoting Sustainable Consumption and Production in Asia

The EC will fund SWITCH Asia II to promote sustainable production and consumption in Asia. On the production side, the program will support less polluting and more resource efficient products, processes, and services — particularly in small and medium Asian enterprises. On the consumption side, the program will encourage the purchase of less polluting and more resource-efficient products, as well as more sustainable lifestyles and behavior. The lead applicant must be an organization in the EU; the European Economic Area; the pre-accession countries of the EU; an international organization; or the following countries of Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. Eligibility also includes organizations in member countries of the OECD for projects implemented in least-developed and highly-indebted countries. Reference EuropeAid/154338/DH/ACT/Multi. The deadline for applications is 14 February 2017. Link
