Rothamsted International is a non-profit organization in the UK, working for sustainable agricultural development in developing countries around the globe.

Activities of Rothamsted International include research and training in crop and environmental research; fostering international cooperation and strategic alliances; and project management for the benefit of developing countries.

Rothamsted offers fellowships for mid-career researchers in agricultural sciences, open to scientists from all developing countries (RI Fellowships).

Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources

RI Fellowships. International scientists undertake projects for 6 to 12 months at Rothamsted Research in the UK.

Fellowships are available to mid-career scientists who are citizens of developing countries, or whose work has been based exclusively within such a country. Applicants should have doctoral status.

RI Fellowships cover travel, accommodation, a personal allowance, and costs of laboratory consumables.

APPLICATION: Fellowships are awarded through calls for proposals, announced on RI’s website.

Applications are completed and submitted by a suitable project leader at Rothamsted Research, who must have previous contact with the named applicant.

RI’s website posts guidelines, criteria, frequently asked questions (FAQ), and calendar deadlines for fellowship applications.
