The Whole Systems Foundation makes small grants for environmental education, alternative energy, and resource conservation in the USA and developing countries.

The Foundation’s grant making is guided by the underlying goal of creating positive change through decreasing the impact of humans on the planet.

The Foundation’s current program gives special emphasis to waste management and chemical pollution. It seeks practical solutions to replace, reuse, and remove plastic from the waste stream.

Recipients of grants for international projects are nonprofit organizations in the USA that are active in environmental issues in developing countries.

Most grants range between US$1 thousand and US$5 thousand.
