CFSI2Grants for small-scale agriculture and rural community organizations in West Africa

Principal Office: France

The French Committee for International Solidarity (Comité Français pour la Solidarité Internationale – CFSI) comprises about 20 French civil society organizations that work for international sustainable development. CFSI’s mission focuses on social justice to reduce poverty and inequality; economy in the service of humans; and sustainable management and sharing of natural resources.

CFSI works with civil society partners in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Projects address agriculture in the fight against hunger, vocational training for younger generations, and capacity-building of local organizations.

Agriculture has been a major part of CFSI’s history since its founding in 1960, and agriculture remains a current priority as defined by the program Feed the World (Nourrir le monde). The program makes grants for small-scale agriculture in West Africa.
