GoGettaz invites young agri-food entrepreneurs (18-35 years) with technologies or innovations for the agriculture and food industry to participate in the Agripreneur Prize 2024. Two entrepreneurs (one woman, and one man) will be awarded US$50 thousand each. Submitted projects are expected to transform the agri-food business in Africa. Neotropical Birding and Conservation — Conservation and Research in Latin America and the Caribbean
The Neotropical Birding and Conservation (formerly Neotropical Bird Club) offers small and medium-sized research grants for conservation work, or for research that may be of conservation benefit. Awards of US$1,500 and US$3,000 are for projects carried out by nationals and/or residents of countries in the Neotropics (i.e. the Caribbean, Central America, and South America). The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program provides funding to postdoctoral applicants, both nationally and internationally, who will positively contribute to Canada’s economic, social, and research-based growth. A total of 70 fellowships are awarded annually. Foreign citizens who are not permanent residents of Canada may only apply if they hold their fellowship at a Canadian institution. Tiny Beam Fund — Negative Impacts of Global Industrial Animal Agriculture
Tiny Beam Fund offers communication grants to researchers who wish to “address negative impacts of global industrial food animal production” (especially in low- and middle-income countries). Communication Grants are aimed at encouraging academics who have studied the problems caused by global industrial animal agriculture to take steps to share their research. There is no fixed upper or lower limit for each grant. Only in exceptional cases will a grant provide over US$50 thousand in 12 months.
