U.S. Department of State — Mapping Wildlife Trafficking, Illegal Logging, and IUU Fishing

The U.S. government will fund nonprofit NGOs and institutions of higher education to map wildlife trafficking, illegal logging, and illegal, unreported, unregulated (IUU) fishing. There are four separate grant components: (1) assessment and mapping of wildlife trafficking and illegal logging in Asia; (2) assessment and mapping of wildlife trafficking and illegal logging in Latin America; (3) assessment and mapping of rhino horn and pangolins and pangolin scales trafficked from Africa to Asia; and (4) assessment and mapping of IUU fishing in Latin America/Caribbean, West Africa/Gulf of Guinea, East Africa/Indian Ocean, and Southeast Asia.
