One Young World — Scholarships to Participate in the One Young World Summit 2022

The One Young World Summit brings together young talents (ages 18-30) from many nationalities to share solutions addressing the world’s pressing issues. To ensure that the most qualified young leaders participate in the Summit, regardless of their ability to pay, fully-funded scholarships are awarded. Truepic — Social Impact Grant 2022

Truepic is the leading photo and video verification platform. Truepic Vision helps organizations use authenticated images and videos to achieve their goals and aid their projects. Truepic announces the request for applications for the social impact grant program 2022. Truepic seeks partners that have a real understanding of how to use imagery to accelerate a mission and positively impact their community or the world. Selected organizations receive a minimum of one year of pro-bono development, use, support, and training of Truepic Vision’s premium platform where they will be able to request and crowdsource authenticated images and videos from any smartphone in the world. Accelerate2030 — Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development

Accelerate2030 supports entrepreneurs from developing and emerging markets to scale their solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Accelerate2030 is a Scale Readiness Program that provides support based on specific needs, such as access to experts, mentors, and partners. While Accelerate2030 supports solutions to any SDGs, the program is particularly looking for solutions related to the Circular Economy, access to Good Health and Wellbeing and Clean Water. European Commission — Climate Leadership

EIT Climate-KIC invites proposals from Higher Education Institutions and other organizations from across Europe that are willing to deliver the Climate Leadership Journey program in their local ecosystems. The program will empower future leaders and innovators from all disciplines and all university and training levels to become active change agents. EIT Climate-KIC can provide 30% of the cost (up to €33 thousand) of the program. The call for applications closes 10 January 2022. Climate Leadership Program

Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund — Biodiversity Conservation in the Mountains of Central Asia

The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) invites applications for small grants to promote biodiversity conservation in the Mountains of Central Asia. The call is open to NGOs, community groups, cultural organizations, women’s groups, private companies and civil society organizations in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The maximum amount of funding is US$20 thousand. Expressions of interest have to be submitted by 15 January 2022. Link

Ocean Park Conservation Foundation — Wildlife Conservation in Asia 2022-2023

The Ocean Park Conservation Foundation solicits projects on threatened animal species in Asia. The Foundation supports conservation research and management, as well as community education and capacity building. Priority will be given to projects from Eastern, Southern, and Southeast Asia. Coastal countries connected to Asia, where funding is limited and with threatened wide-ranging Asian species, are included. The majority of projects are for one year, but the Foundation will also consider multi-year projects if they show promise of clear conservation outcomes. American Ornithological Society — Student and Postdoctoral Research

The American Ornithological Society (AOS) makes student grants of up to $2,500 to support research in various areas of avian biology by undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs. AOS encourages undergraduate students from any region to apply. Applicants must be members of AOS. Latin American students are particularly encouraged to apply for the Alexander Wetmore Memorial Research Award for research in avian systematics, paleo-ornithology, biogeography, and especially neotropical biology. French Committee for International Solidarity — Grants for Family Agriculture in West Africa 2022

The French Committee for International Solidarity (Comité Français pour la Solidarité Internationale – CFSI), in partnership with Fondation de France, funds projects that support small-scale farming in West Africa. Grants will support projects carried out by partnerships between European and West African nonprofit legal entities, research and training organizations in the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo. Projects can range from one to three years. Grants are a maximum of €15 thousand per year, or €50 thousand in the case of a 3-year project. Eppley Foundation — Research in Biological and Physical Sciences

The Eppley Foundation for Research funds projects in medicine, life sciences, and the physical sciences. Areas of interest include innovative medical investigations and applications; endangered animals and ecosystems; and climate change. Applicants for grants must be associated with recognized nonprofit educational or research institutions in the US. Grants may be awarded for research internationally when applicants are based in the USA or are associated with U.S. institutions that will administer the grants. Most grants are under US$25 thousand. BBVA Foundation — Awards in Biodiversity Conservation

The BBVA Foundation makes awards for biodiversity conservation in Spain and internationally. The Foundation’s goal is to publicly recognize the work done by conservationist organizations, institutions and agencies in carrying forward environmental conservation policies and projects. For Spain, there is one award of €250 thousand for actions in biodiversity conservation, and another award of €80 thousand for environmental communication. For the rest of the world, there is one award of €250 thousand for actions in biodiversity conservation. Applications for the worldwide award can be submitted in Spanish or English.
