Companies and organizations from all over the world are welcome to apply. International Fund for Agricultural Development — Grants to Improve Resilience and Food Security
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) will finance the implementation of a project on “Innovative regenerative agriculture approaches to improve resilience and food security”. The goal is to contribute to more productive and nutritious climate resilient and sustainable agricultural production through the application of regenerative agriculture techniques. United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change — Global Climate Action Awards
The United Nations (UN) welcomes the submission activities that serve as examples of what people around the world are doing to address climate change. For 2023, the Awards seek to highlight the innovative climate action that young people around the world are undertaking to ensure their communities are more sustainable, resilient, and equitable places to live. The winners will receive a range of benefits, including fully-paid participation at the UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The deadline for applications is 15 October 2023. The Commonwealth Secretary-General — Innovation for Sustainable Development Awards
Innovation for Sustainable Development Awards recognize ground-breaking innovations from Commonwealth countries that contribute to one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Each winner will receive a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of £3,000. Nominees can be individuals, organizations, companies, charities or government bodies. Halcyon — MENA Fellowship
The Halcyon MENA Fellowship helps founders and entrepreneurs to build Health, Climate, and EquityTech solutions for impact across the Middle East and North Africa. Fellows receive expert training in Washington, DC, and critical resources to accelerate their venture. Fellows accepted into this program will receive US$5 thousand equity-free living stipend per venture. Eligibility extends to for-profit startups with scalable solutions. EIT Climate-KIC — Sustainable Cities Mobility Challenge
EIT Climate-KIC seeks to decarbonise transport, improve local air quality and accelerate electric mobility in European cities. The call aims to support the transition to cleaner, greener, and more people-centered transport, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal. Cities and towns (with a population of at least 25,000) in the EU Member States, Horizon Europe Associated Countries (including the United Kingdom) and Switzerland are eligible to apply. Private Enterprise Development in Low-Income Countries — Major Research Grant Development Finance
The Private Enterprise Development in Low-Income Countries (PEDL) Program invites expressions of interest for Major Research Grant projects on the role of development finance in stimulating private sector development, as well as projects related to climate change and environmental compliance. Major Research Grants are grants of £100 thousand or more. There is no formal upper limit, but past MRGs have averaged around £300 thousand.
