The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) launches a new call for proposals. Projects should aim to increase adherence to the Mediterranean diet as a sustainable pattern including environmental, social, and health aspects. Projects can request up to €4.1 million for 36 months. Companies/enterprises, non-profit organizations, NGOs, public research organizations, and universities from the following non-EU countries are eligible: Israel, Tunisia, Turkey, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco. The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) supports projects under the following topics: (1) Water Management, (2) Farming Systems, (3) and Agri-food Value Chain. Water projects should focus on alleviating Mediterranean water scarcity through adaptive water governance. Farming projects need to demonstrate field practices based on agroecological practices to increase ecosystem services and biodiversity, adapt the small farming systems to climate change, and to increase farmers’ incomes. United States-India Educational Foundation — Fulbright-Nehru Master’s Fellowships 2025-2026
The Fulbright-Nehru Master’s Fellowships support Indians residing in India to pursue a master’s degree program at selected U.S. colleges and universities. The many eligible subject areas include environmental sciences such as toxicology, natural resource management, pollution prevention, environmental law, environmental engineering, and environmental policy analysis (among others). The fellowships are for one or two years. Applicants need to have at least three years of full-time professional work experience relevant to the proposed field of study at the time of application. United States-India Educational Foundation — Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowship 2025-26
The Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowship aims to build long-term capacity in the USA and India by engaging both countries in research and education on climate change. The program offers research fellowships for PhD students in India who will affiliate with a U.S. institution for six to nine months. It also offers postdoctoral fellowships of eight to twelve months for Indian faculty and researchers who are in the early stages of their research careers in India. The fellowships provide air travel between India and the USA; a monthly stipend; accident and sickness insurance, a modest settling-in allowance; a professional allowance; and a dependent allowance (under certain circumstances).
