Coca-Cola Foundation
Grants to promote water stewardship at the community level
Principal Office: USA
The Coca-Cola Company declares its commitment to help support the communities where it works around the world. The Coca-Cola Foundation is the company’s global international philanthropic arm.
In addition to its primary Foundation in Atlanta (USA), Coca-Cola also works through regional and country foundations in Latin America, Africa, Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
The Foundation’s priority areas for grant making are women, water, and well-being. Coca-Cola’s regional and country foundations share in these global priorities and add others — mainly in areas of education, health, and environment.
Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources
Water. The Foundation makes grants in support of access to clean water and sanitation; watershed management in water-stressed areas; multiple-use systems for water; and education and awareness in water conservation.
Eligibility for grants extends to tax-exempt nonprofit charitable organizations in the USA, and to organizations that have equivalent charitable status in other countries.
There are no limits on grant size.
APPLICATION: The Coca-Cola Foundation uses an online application system. Applications can be submitted at any time. Applicants are asked several questions in an “eligibility quiz” before they are able to apply.
The request for a grant includes the applicant’s contact information and organizational background; focus area of the request; goals, purpose, and current status of the applicant’s program or project; details of the budget; and plan for monitoring the grant’s impact.
