Holohil Grant Program. Holohil offers transmitters at reduced or no cost to projects that have high importance for research and/or conservation, a sound research design, and a positive conservation intention.

Furthermore, Holohil accepts used units that will be refurbish and donated to worthwhile conservation projects.

Qualifying projects need to make significant use of transmitters for data collection; advance scientific knowledge; contribute to conservation; engage and/or educate the public; and focus on underrepresented study species of high research or conservation value.

Grants are up to CDN$2,500 towards the cost of transmitters. Additionally, the company pays all shipping charges.

Eligibility for grants extends to conservation professionals and researchers anywhere in the world.

APPLICATION: Holohil posts an application form that requests information about the project background and its objectives; the wildlife species and its conservation status; and project methods and expected impact.

There are four application deadlines each year.
