The Caterpillar Foundation was established in 1952, and has since contributed over US$685 million worldwide as one aspect of the company’s charitable outreach.
Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources
Matching Gifts Program. The Foundation offers a year-round Matching Gifts Program to support employees, U.S. retirees and board of directors in their contributions to worthy causes.
Caterpillar participants may request an annual total maximum match of US$10 thousand each calendar year to eligible charities to which contributions are tax deductible.
APPLICATION: The program extends to eligible Caterpillar employees, U.S. retirees and the board of directors. Caterpillar employees in China; Russia & Kazakhstan and international Progress Rail employees may be eligible in a future phase of the program’s development.
