The Disaster Resilience in the Compact Nations (RESILIENCE) is a five-year USAID program that aims to improve the local capacity to prepare for natural disasters. The activity will expedite delivery of emergency and reconstruction assistance in the event of natural disasters in the Federated States of Micronesia and Republic of Marshall Islands. The objective is to increased disaster management capacity of local communities and host governments. USAID intends to provide US$17 million in total funding. Eligibility for this NOFO is not restricted. This funding opportunity is open to all interested organizations (i.e., non-profit organizations, universities, consortiums, for-profit organizations, etc.).
