The Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) accepts applications from organizations seeking to enhance their community’s ability to prepare for extreme events such as droughts, floods, wildfires, and other consequences of climate change. Projects are funded for a maximum duration of 12 months with a contribution of up to C$165 thousand. Grantees must be local communities, indigenous communities, academia, or non-governmental organizations located in Canada, Mexico, or the USA.
