The 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund is designed to create and foster partnerships between higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Americas and the United States to provide new student exchange and training programs. The Fund makes grants of US$25 thousand to support higher education partnerships between the United States and higher education institutions in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Belize, the Dominican Republic. Eligible academic areas include, but are not limited to: Environment & Climate Solutions; Food & Agricultural Sciences; Biotechnology; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH); and others.
