European Union — Developing Business Opportunities for African Countries

ARCHIPELAGO is a 4-year European program with the aim to support the growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Africa. The program supports partnership projects in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, and Senegal. Each selected project will receive a grant of between €400 thousand and €500 thousand. Each project proposal must be submitted by a consortium consisting of at least two partners (one from Africa and one from the EU). Applications may be submitted by business support organisations (such as chambers and business associations), training centres or other entities which specialize in activities related to vocational training and/or business development services.
