The Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA) makes grants to evidence-based conservation projects that address key threats to amphibians and raise awareness. AArk Program Grants are intended to support conservation projects for amphibian species that cannot currently be saved in the wild, with a primary focus on ex situ actions, and in partnership with appropriate field activities. Funded programs will receive up to US$7,000 in the first year. Additional funds will be available for year 2 (up to US$5,000) and year 3 (up to US$3,000). British Council — Transnational Education Grants with India
The British Council invites applications for Transnational Education Grants with India to support UK and Indian higher education institutions, together with industry partners, to develop and launch transnational education courses and degree programmes in emerging disciplines. Priority areas include AI and machine learning, quantum computing, genomics and proteomics, sustainable energy and climate change technology, synthetic biology, neurotechnology, circular economy research, advanced engineering, robotics, space technologies, semiconductor technologies, critical minerals, and earth sciences. Eligible partnerships must include at least one UK higher education institution, one Indian higher education institution, and an industry partner from the UK or India. European Commission — Sustainable Management of Caribbean OCTs’ Natural Capital
The European Commission invites proposals to strengthen the sustainable management of natural capital in the Caribbean Overseas Countries and Territories, specifically Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Saint Barthélemy, Sint Eustatius, and Sint Maarten. The call supports projects in two lots: sustainable agriculture, food security, and water management; and marine biodiversity protection and invasive species management. Eligible applicants include nonprofit legal entities such as NGOs, public sector operators, and international organizations established in eligible EU Member States or Caribbean OCTs. Allianz — Climate Risk Research Award
The Allianz Climate Risk Research Award supports scientific research that improves the understanding of climate change-related risks. PhD students from all around the world who are in the final stage of their research and postdoctoral researchers whose research focuses on reducing the risk of extreme weather events that are intensified by climate change; or fostering resilience by applying technological solutions are invited to apply. International Fund for Agricultural Development — Rural Sector Performance Assessment for Policy and Investment
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) invites proposals to select an organization or consortium to implement an initiative that strengthens the use of IFAD’s Rural Sector Performance Assessment for rural development policy and investment. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, private sector companies, universities, think tanks, and research institutes. The selected recipient may receive up to US$1.2 million and must provide a counterpart contribution of at least 20% of the IFAD grant amount, or 25% for private sector institutions. Nippon Foundation — Ocean Fellowship
The United Nations–Nippon Foundation Fellowship provides government officials and other mid-level professionals from developing states with advanced training on ocean affairs and the law of the sea. The 9-month fellowship program is composed of two consecutive phases which provide fellows with advanced and customized research and training opportunities. Fellows will receive a stipend each month during their fellowship. The stipend is intended to cover the cost of lodging, boarding, and other essentials such as local transport. In addition to the stipend, fellows will be provided with a book allowance of US$100 per month. Candidates must be between the ages of 25 and 40. Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund — Biodiversity Conservation in the Mediterranean Basin
The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) invites Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) for large grants (US$50 thousand – US$180 thousand). International Development Research Centre — Multilateral Research Call
The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) invites expressions of interest for collaborative, multi-country research projects that advance Africa’s Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy. The call supports research in five thematic areas: agriculture, health, artificial intelligence and digital technologies, energy, and environment. Eligible applicants are consortia consisting of one lead institution and at least two co-applicant institutions from different participating SGCI countries; eligible organizations include public research organizations, public and private universities, and governmental research organizations, while organizations outside participating countries may join as unfunded partners.
