The Women & Gender Constituency invites applications for the Gender Just Climate Solutions Awards. The awards aim to showcase real solutions for a more just, equal, and healthy planet, such as non-technical climate solutions, technical climate solutions, and transformational climate initiatives with a women or gender perspective. Three winners will each receive € 5,000 and a chance to attend the COPs. All types of activist, grassroots, and women-led organizations working on issues related to climate change from all over the world are encouraged to apply. The Climate Change Media Partnership announces the COP30 Reporting Fellowship Program for journalists from low- and middle-income countries interested in covering the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30). The Fellowship will cover economy-class airfare, accommodation, meals, travel medical insurance, and ground transportation costs related to participation. The deadline is 15 July 2025. Link
The Climate Communication Fund supports communication and climate action by supporting CSOs in enhancing their communication strategies. The Fund offers grants of up to €10 thousand to increase the communication capacity of climate nonprofits. Eligible organizations are encouraged to propose projects that leverage various communication channels, including digital media, community outreach, and educational programs. The Climate Editorial Board offers travel awards to junior scientists working on climate-related research. The financial support of CHF800 can be used to attend an international conference held in 2026 focusing on the climate processes of the earth. The winner of the award is expected to hold a presentation and present a poster at the conference. Applicants must be postdoctoral fellows or PhD students involved in climate-related sciences. She Wins Climate aims at accelerating women-led climate startups and increasing their access to climate investment. The 12-month program is designed to help women climate entrepreneurs in the region to lead the transformation of climate action. Eligible startups must be legally registered, operating for at least one year, and based in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, or Vietnam. The AWARD Climate Action Fellowship aims to develop the leadership and technical capacities of African women in climate change adaptation. The one-year program offers leadership development, gender integration training, mentorship, and the opportunity to implement Climate Research and Innovation Projects. Eligible applicants are women from Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, or Senegal, holding at least a master’s degree in relevant fields, with a minimum of two years’ experience in climate-related work, and residing in Africa throughout the fellowship period. SUNx Malta provides 50 full scholarships for a two-year online diploma program. The program aims to train young graduates from Least Developed Countries, Small Island Developing States, and other developing nations to become Climate Friendly Travel Champions, leading sustainable tourism initiatives in their home countries.
