Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India and Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), USA invite applications to the Global Cooling Prize. This prize will recognize innovations that help to tackle critical climate threats proveniente from growing demand for residential air-conditioning. Applications are open for innovators from all around the world. The competition will run for two years and will disburse at least US$3 million in interim and final awards to best innovative residential cooling technologies.
