European Commission (Horizon 2020) — Negative Emissions and Land-Use based Mitigation Assessment

The European Commission, under Horizon 2020, launches a call for research and innovation action on negative emissions and land-use based mitigation assessment. Actions should address one of the following sub-topics: Feasibility of negative emissions for climate stabilisation; or Land-based mitigation. Applicants can request a contribution between €5 million and €7 million. International cooperations and legal entities established in EU Member States, Overseas Countries and Territories and Horizon 2020 associated countries (as detailed in the call) are eligible to apply under this call.
