Finnish Government — Scholarships 2020/2021

The Finnish Government offers scholarships of 3-9 months for Doctoral studies and research at Finnish universities or public research institutes. The Scholarship Pool program is open to young researchers from all academic fields, including agriculture and forestry, environmental sciences, veterinary medicine, and many others. Nationals from China, Cuba, Egypt, Mexico, Mongolia, Namibia, Peru, South Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay, and some developed countries are eligible to apply. The scholarship includes a monthly allowance of € 1,500. Travel expenses are not covered by the program. The next deadline for the nomination of scholarship candidates is 15 February 2020.
