The Chrysalis Trust makes grants to registered UK charities for charitable activities that provide public benefit. The geographical scope is locally in the North East of England; nationally in the UK; and UK organizations for work internationally.

The Fund’s current priorities are the relief of poverty and disability; and access to shelter, education, healthcare, and water.

The Trust limits its international grant making to charities registered in the UK. Past awards include examples in Sub-Saharan Africa, along with other examples in Asia and Latin America. The examples include a few small-scale water projects.

Most grants are under £10 thousand.
