Malta’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs manages the country’s program of economic cooperation with the developing world.

Malta’s policy for development assistance is guided by policy decisions and guidelines of the United Nations, the European Union, and other international institutions.

Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources

Support to Civil Society Organizations in Malta. The Ministry co-finances Maltese organizations and individuals to carry out projects in the developing world in collaboration with local partners.

APPLICATION: The Ministry posts announcements to solicit expressions of interest from Maltese civil society. Each announcement includes eligible themes and regions, the calendar deadline for submissions, and other supporting information.
