The Orskov Foundation supports community projects in agriculture, land use, and environment. It also offers a few grants each year to university students to advance their training in these topics.
Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources
Student Grants. Grants support the training of graduate students of low-income and lower-middle income developing countries who are registered for graduate degrees at universities in their home countries in subjects of agriculture, land use, or environment.
The grants are for training at an institution other than the one in which the student is registered at the time of application. Grants do not support degree programs or courses, or research projects related to degree programs or courses.
Grants are a maximum of £2.5 thousand per year.
An application requires information about the post-graduate training being requested; the aims and objectives of the training; how the training will have a positive impact on poverty alleviation and environmental benefits; how Orskov’s funding will be used; and the names and contact information of two academic references.
Applications are submitted in the last quarter of the year.
