Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources
Grants for Biodiversity Conservation. The Foundation supports projects that protect natural heritage and biodiversity. Although originally limited to the Mediterranean Basin, the Foundation’s activities now extend outside the region and support numerous international initiatives to protect biodiversity.
The Foundation finances projects with clear focus on respecting biodiversity (e. g., trees plantation for conservation of threatened varieties, reforestation of degraded ecosystems and/or agroforestry practices).
L’OCCITANE’s local offices identify local organizations/projects and submit an application for co-financing on their behalf. The requested amount (limited to a maximum of €10 thousand) is then doubled by the Foundation.
Interested applicants have to contact the subsidiary of L’OCCITANE located in their country.
