The ReSource Award is open to NGOs, private, scientific, and public institutions. Projects comprising more than one type of institution (e.g., public-private partnerships) are eligible.

Projects that win the ReSource Award generally involve community or regional institutions.

Each year, Swiss Re awards US$150 thousand to multiple projects.

APPLICATION: Applications for the ReSource Award are scheduled on an annual cycle.

Applicants submit an initial application before a calendar deadline. The submission is made online and in English. Note: Applicants who are unable to submit applications online may request an alternative process, explained on the website.

In a second phase, Swiss Re requests full proposals from a selected sub-group of the initial applicants. An international panel evaluates the finalist projects, and selects the winners.
