The Alongside Wildlife Foundation promotes science-based solutions and research to reduce human-wildlife conflicts.
The Foundation supports research in ecology and conservation biology to identify conflicts with the needs of wildlife and generate innovative solutions. The outreach program supports science communication and citizen science.
Funding is intended for research, outreach, and conservation projects focusing on wildlife around the world, as well as workshops that help professionals learn about and communicate science.
Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources
Small-Grants Program. The small-grants program funds wildlife conservation projects around the world. The program supports the collection of data, communicating science to communities with the goal of reducing human/wildlife conflict, and the implementation of science-based strategies for living alongside wildlife populations.
Total funding does not exceed US$10 thousand.
APPLICATION: Since 2018, the Foundation operates on an annual grant cycle. Each year, the Foundation defines a special focus for the current call for proposals.
