The Disney Conservation Fund (DCF) makes grants for wildlife studies, habitat protection, and community conservation and education in critical ecosystems around the world.
Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources
Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund. The DCF makes annual conservation grants, and it manages a rapid response fund. It also makes awards to grassroots conservationists for outstanding work to protect wildlife and habitats, and to educate communities.
Annual Conservation Grants — The DCF favors projects that contribute to the conservation of endangered and threatened species and their habitats. The priority is for projects that connect locally to engage communities, conservation NGOs, and governments. Funded projects should build on previous work, or have the potential to contribute to long-term conservation programs. Grants are a maximum of US$50 thousand during a period of two years.
Rapid Response Fund — The Rapid Respond Program is designed to provide emergency grants in times of conservation crisis or urgent need. Grants are up to US$10 thousand per request.
Conservation Heroes — Organizations that have been funded by the DCF are eligible to nominate conservation heroes. These are local persons who have helped advance conservation in their communities. Awards of US$1,500 are divided between each Conservation Hero and the nominating organization.
Eligibility for grants is restricted to organizations that have nonprofit status in the USA. Nonprofit organizations in other countries apply in collaboration with U.S. nonprofit partners (fiscal sponsor).

Regarding the Annual Conservation Grants, applicants send letters of inquiry before the calendar deadline. Inquiries to the Rapid Response Fund can be submitted at any time. Applicants send an email to DCF to request an invitation code.
