Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources

Capacity building of young professionals in wildlife conservation. EWCF directs its capacity building to early-career professionals who have the potential to be leaders in international wildlife conservation. The program selects individuals to comprise new groups (i.e., classes) of about 20 participants on two-year cycles.

EWCF prefers to work with individuals who have at least three years of conservation field experience, and who intend to commit at least another 15 years to a conservation career. The program is open to candidates from NGOs, foundations, government agencies, and the private sector. It particularly welcomes applications from under-represented groups in conservation.

There are no restrictions by nationality or residence.

The program covers all costs of U.S.-based participants. International applicants must be able to cover the costs of travel to the USA, and must be fluent in English.
