Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Grants to development NGOs in Luxembourg in themes that include agriculture and rural development, water and sanitation, and environment and climate change

Principal Office: Luxembourg

In Luxembourg, a Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Action reports to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation (Lux-Dev) implements the majority of bilateral aid projects with partner governments in the developing countries. However, the Ministry maintains the legal authority and administration of grants to non-governmental organizations.

Among Luxembourg’s programmatic strategies for development assistance, those of principal interest in the Terra Viva Grants Directory are agriculture and food security; water and sanitation; and environment and climate change.
