The Network for Social Change raises funds from its philanthropic members to promote progressive social change. The Network currently has over 100 members, mainly in the UK.
Grant making supports socially progressive projects in the UK and developing countries. Grants include some for environment, natural resources, and related areas.
Thematic areas are: Development; Environment; Justice; and Peace.
Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources
1 — Development. Projects promote small-scale energy, agriculture, and land management (together with projects in health, education, and other sectors).

Most grant recipients are charitable civil society organizations in the UK, including many which have international interests.
Grants are £50 thousand to £100 thousand per year for major projects of three to six years. Most grants are smaller, normally under £15 thousand (“pools”) and under £6 thousand (“fast-track”).
APPLICATION (for 1-2 preceding): The members of the Network identify projects to be sponsored and financially supported. The Network does not accept unsolicited funding applications.
However, the Network is willing to receive project ideas from outside of its membership. For this purpose, the Network operates a Project Noticeboard. Individuals use an online form to submit brief details of any project for the Network’s attention.
