Canada’s IDRC calls for research projects with the potential to generate high impact and innovative results for improved food security in Africa. The research should focus on improved productivity and incomes for farmers; gender equity; nutrition and human health; and climate change and sustainable water management. Eligibility to participate extends to NGOs, universities, and government departments with legal corporate registration in Burundi; Ethiopia; Kenya; Malawi; Mozambique; Rwanda; Tanzania; Uganda; Zambia; and Zimbabwe. Project budgets under this call must be in the range of CA$1 million to CA$3 million for projects of up to 4 years. The deadline for proposals is 01 March 2018. More
