The Swedish Research Council makes international postdoc grants within development research to newly qualified researchers with a doctoral degree from a Swedish university or the European University Institute (EUI). The Council invites applications from all disciplines and subject areas, including natural sciences, engineering sciences, environmental sciences, and many others. Research proposals must be of particular relevance to the fight against poverty and for sustainable development in low income countries. The grant amount is SEK 1.15 million per year and may be used to cover salary, housing, costs related to the research project (such as equipment, consumables and publication costs), and additional costs.
