The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites institutions and individuals to submit proposals for transformative mountain projects. Projects must focus on the significant challenges mountain areas face today, including food insecurity, climate change impact, biodiversity loss, poverty, and loss of traditional knowledge. Winning projects will receive seed funding of US$5,000 and project incubation assistance. New projects and projects in the initial planning stages are eligible; ongoing projects are not.
