The DHI scheme aims to increase and strengthen the number of Dutch companies operating successfully in emerging markets and developing countries. DHI focuses on SMEs in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom with interest in foreign markets (especially developing and emerging economies). Dutch SMEs can request subsidies for feasibility studies (with a foreign partner), investment preparation projects, or demonstration projects of a technology, product or service in the target country. Subsidies for DHIs are between €25 thousand and €200 thousand per project. The scheme is open to projects in all countries. The deadline to apply for a DHI subsidy is 31 December 2020.
