Inter-American Development Bank — Regional Public Goods

The IDB calls for proposals on regional public goods that have the potential to generate significant shared benefits and positive spillover effects from country to country and sector to sector. Proposals that address cross-cutting issues, such as climate change and environmental sustainability (among other themes), are particularly welcomed. Due to the current situation, IDB will prioritize proposals related to the coordination of policies and solutions at the regional level to deal with future consequences of COVID-19 in Latin America and the Caribbean. Notwithstanding, the Initiative will continue accepting proposals in other priority areas aligned with the IDB’s sectoral priorities. Projects should be tri-national, or exceptionally bi-national. Grants normally range from US$500 thousand to US$750 thousand for a maximum of 3 years. Counterpart resources are required. Eligibility extends to Latin American and/or Caribbean private and nonprofit entities or institutions. The deadline for proposals (English, Spanish) is 15 May 2020. About the program
