Each year, the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) co-operates with a national organisation that arranges a national Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) competition. SJWP is open for projects striving to improve water quality, water resources management, water protection, water and wastewater treatment. The competition is open to young people between the ages of 15 and 20. The winner receives US$15 thousand, a crystal sculpture, a diploma as well as the stay in Stockholm during the World Water Week. Students interested in taking part in a national competition have to contact their national organiser. The deadlines may vary by country. Find out how to participate
