The Michael Succow Foundation supports early-career scientists from Central Asia though the Central Asian Desert Initiative (CADI) Fellowship Programme. The project must have a clear relevance for the country of origin (China, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan) and should focus on the increase of sustainability or improvement of livelihoods in the region. The program covers travel costs, research equipment and provides a monthly allowance of € 1.000 for 12 months. The deadline for applications is 30 June 2018. About the fellowship
