The U.S. program will include a four-week professional internship in Michigan. The program is open to young female agribusiness entrepreneurs working in Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia, or Zimbabwe. The Arrell Food Institute invites nominations for the 2024 Arrell Global Food Innovation Awards. The Award recognizes global excellence in food innovation and community impact through research and food security. Individuals or teams of any country are eligible for nomination. Two winners will receive C$100 thousand each, plus up to C$25 thousand for travel and accommodation to participate in the Arrell Food Summit. The ICGEB Research Grants support projects in agricultural biotechnology, basic life sciences, bioenergy, and many other fields. Cornell University invites applications from early-career African researchers to participate in the Structural Transformation of African Agriculture and Rural Spaces (STAARS) fellowship program. The Resilient Agriculture Innovations for Nature (RAIN) challenge aims to convert seed-level innovative agricultural ideas in East Africa and scale them to sustainable business ideas.
