The European Commission seeks project proposals (two-stage call) to strengthen international cooperation on sustainable urbanisation through nature-based solutions for restoration and rehabilitation of urban ecosystems. Actions under this call should develop models, tools, methodologies, strategies, or guidelines to prevent further degradation, rehabilitation and maintenance measures for urban and peri-urban ecosystems, destruction of habitats, and biodiversity loss. Amigos da Jubarte — Photography and Arts Contest

The Amigos da Jubarte Project is a non-profit initiative focusing on humpback whale conservation and sustainable tourism for habitat protection in Espírito Santo, Brazil. The Project invites submissions for its first photography contest entitled “Where is the Whale?”. Chinese Academy of Sciences — PhD Fellowships in China 2019

The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) jointly invite applications for the CAS-TWAS President’s PhD Fellowship Programme to pursue PhD studies in China. The participating institutions are the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; the University of Science and Technology of China; and CAS institutes around China.
