International Water Center — International Masters Scholarships (Integrated Water Management)

Australia’s International Water Center announces funding for international candidates accepted into the Master of Integrated Water Management in Australia. Two scholarships will cover full tuition and living expenses of up to AU$95,564 (Type A Scholarship), and a third will cover full tuition of up to AU$58,989 (Type B Scholarship). Applications are invited from eligible countries in Asia-Pacific; Africa; Latin America and Caribbean; the Middle East; Europe; and North America. German Government — International Climate Initiative South Africa

Germany’s International Climate Initiative (IKI) supports projects with focus on transition to a decarbonised economy; as well as other initiatives with land use and climate change mitigation relevance in South Africa. The projects should have a funding volume between €12 million and €15 million each. Non-governmental organisations, business enterprises, universities and research institutions from Germany and abroad are eligible to apply. Program outlines can be submitted until 31 August 2020. German Academic Exchange Service — Scholarships for Costa Rican University Professors

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships for master and doctorate students to expand their training in Germany. Eligibility extends to Costa Rican university professors (max. 38 years of age) graduated from the University of Costa Rica (UCR ), Technological Institute of Costa Rica (TEC), University National (UNA), or the Distance State University (UNED). Scholarships are €1000 per month, plus international travel expenses, and other expenses related to the education. Applications have to be submitted by 31 August 2020. Find out more

MaRINET2 — Access to Ocean Energy Research Infrastructures

MaRINET2 is working towards unlocking the energy potential of our oceans. The transnational access program offers free-of-charge access to the research and testing facilities of the MaRINET2 network. MaRINET2 provides a contribution of €1000 per week towards travel and subsistence expenses. In 2020 one period of access with a 6-month duration will be organised. Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture — Seed Funding for Research and Training in Food Security

The Seed Fund for Research and Training (SFRT) is open to individuals in ASEAN member countries for competitive grants up to US$15 thousand in research and training related to agriculture and rural development. Applications are due before 01 August of each year. Link
