EIT Climate-KIC — Blue Economy Accelerator

Climate-KIC seeks a service provider to deliver a virtual accelerator program for blue economy start-ups, social enterprises and not-for-profits in the Pacific Islands. The delivery organization must be based in the Pacific Islands and have a presence across multiple islands. The program will support 5-10 innovations with up to a maximum grant value of €80 thousand from across multiple Pacific Islands nations. This call is open to entrepreneurship support organizations located in Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Wallis & Futuna. Serengeti Energy — Renewable Energy Incubator Program

The Umoja Incubator is an incubator program for aspiring developers in the renewable energy industry who have big ideas but lack the experience or financial capabilities to submit their proposals to the Serengeti initiative. Serengeti Energy will invest in renewable energy technology (wind, solar and hydro only) with a size between 3 MW-50 MW across Africa. The application is open to any company with projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. The winning projects will enter into a partnership with Serengeti Energy and receive financing. Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund — Conservation in the Indo-Burma Biodiversity Hotspot

The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) invites letters of inquiry (LOI) to empower local communities to engage in conservation and management of key biodiversity areas of Cambodia, China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. CEPF intends to make small grants of US$40 thousand and large grants of up to US$200 thousand. The call is open to NGOs, community groups, Indigenous People’s organizations, women’s groups, private companies and other civil society organizations. Clean Cooking Alliance — Haiti Clean Cooking Fund

The Haiti Clean Cooking Fund provides financial and technical assistance to support the growth of clean cooking companies in Haiti. The size of individual awards will range from US$25 thousand to US$250 thousand. The Fund will give preference to companies that can provide matched funding (50%). The Fund is open to companies and nonprofit entities in Haiti. Non-Haitian Companies may participate, provided they have an interest in entering the Haitian market or partnering with a local Haitian entity to manufacture, supply, and distribute clean cooking solutions in Haiti on a commercial basis. United States Agency for International Development — Landscape Management and Conservation

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID/India) seeks concept papers for a cooperative agreement from qualified organizations to implement the ‘Strengthening Landscape Management and Conservation’ activity. The activity focuses on three main objectives: (1) Improved management of protected areas and their corridors for wildlife conservation and other ecological benefits; (2) Improved inclusive livelihoods from ecosystem services, and (3) Strengthened conditions for institutionalizing landscape conservation. BIOPAMA — Small Technical Grants for Assessment of Conservation Areas

Biodiversity and Protected Areas Management (BIOPAMA) makes small grants for the technical assessment of protected conservation areas. Small Technical Grants for Assessment (STGA) aim to identify result-oriented priority actions for improved protected and conserved areas management and governance. Grant size can vary from a minimum of €50 thousand to a maximum of €100 thousand. Assessments must take place in priority areas such as key landscapes for conservation, key biodiversity areas, marine managed areas or other protected and conserved areas in the Caribbean. Eligibility extends to non-profit organizations, government agencies, and small or medium enterprises. The deadline to submit applications to this call for proposals is 30 September 2022. United Nations Industrial Development Organisation — Innovative Solutions towards Net-Zero

UNIDO seeks innovative technology solutions that address the adverse effects of climate change and that have the potential to be scaled up, and thus ultimately contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic development. Priority will be given to applications with solutions for: decarbonizing growing urban environments, generating and distributing clean energy, recycling for more climate-cautious consumption, and innovative solutions for sustainable land management. The call is addressed to private sector entities (micro, small, medium, and large companies & startups). Twelve winners will have the opportunity to present their innovative solution to a large audience during the Global Call award ceremony and will benefit from promotional and networking support. U.S. African Development Foundation — Smallholder Irrigation Revitalization Program

The Smallholder Irrigation Revitalization Program (SIRP) invites proposals from African cooperatives, producer groups, and associations for grant financing and local support for innovative solutions related to irrigation schemes. Proposals will only be accepted from registered agricultural cooperatives and SMEs in Zimbabwe working directly in the Agriculture value chain. The maximum grant award is US$50 thousand. SEED — Starter Workshop for Eco-Enterprises in Kenya

SEED offers valuable resources and professional support to expand entrepreneurial ideas while learning from peers during interactive SEED Starter workshops. SEED Starter workshops consist of a team of 2-5 members that bring in a business idea for addressing environmental, social and economic challenges. Successful alumni are invited to apply for a SEED Grant for up to €1,000 which pays for resources required to establish the new enterprise. United States Agency for International Development — Partnership to Conserve the Amazon

The United States Agency for International Development in Brazil (USAID/Brazil) seeks novel or creative approaches to conserve the Amazon and further advance biodiversity and forest conservation while promoting long-term community well-being. Each anticipated award will have a minimum value of US$2.5 million of USAID funding.
