South Pole seeks conservation and restoration projects in forestry and land use that protect wildlife, empower communities, and create sustainable economies, as well as large-scale nature-based solutions for a post-COVID green recovery. Ecosystem protection projects and restoration projects must focus on creating or protecting the habitat of endangered species. Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok — Small-Scale Local Projects in Thailand and Laos
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok invites applications for small-scale development projects from organizations in Thailand or Laos. Projects and development activities in the areas of environment, agriculture, health, education, and social services are welcome. The Czech Republic will provide between US$ 8,500 and US$ 22 thousand per project. Non-profit organizations, educational institutions, or community groups are welcome to apply. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service — Conservation of Neotropical Migratory Birds 2025
The U.S. Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act sponsors an annual competitive grants program to support the conservation of neotropical migratory birds and their habitats in the USA, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. At least 75 percent of funding supports projects outside the USA. Grant requests have to be matched by partner contributions at no less than a 3-to-1 ratio. Eligibility to compete for funding is unrestricted. Applications should be submitted in English, but the program will accept accompanying versions of the application in Spanish and Portuguese. EnAccess Foundation — Innovations for Energy Access
The EnAccess Foundation funds Innovation Pilot projects and Moonshot concepts focusing on providing energy access. EnAccess provides up to US$250 thousand for projects that are ready to be built and prototyped (e.g., hardware, software, business models) and US$50 thousand for ambitious research ideas in the conceptual stage (e.g., analysis and modeling). Our Kids Climate — Climate Parent Fellowship
The Climate Parent Fellowship aims to support parent-led, intergenerational, and family-centered climate engagement work. Fellows receive training, mentorship, and a part-time stipend, which aims to make their climate organizing work more sustainable. The grants will range from US$15 thousand US$20 thousand. Applicants must be over 18 years old but in addition to parent-led climate organizers, the organizers consider all applicants working on intergenerational and family-friendly climate organizing. U.S. National Fish and Wildlife Foundation — Conservation of Sea Turtles 2025
The U.S. National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) requests proposals that seek to improve the recovery and conservation of sea turtle populations. The majority of projects will take place in the Western Hemisphere: leatherbacks and loggerheads in the Northwest Atlantic, and leatherbacks and hawksbills in the Eastern Pacific. In 2025, the NFWF Sea Turtles Program will also award support to permitted U.S. organizations in providing sea turtle stranding response and/or rehabilitation in the United States and U.S. Territories. The RFP will award up to US$1.5 million, however, the majority of awards will fall in the range of US$50 thousand to US$300 thousand. A minimum of a 1:1 match of cash and/or in-kind services is required. UNESCO — Global Youth Grant Scheme
UNESCO announces the launch of a grant scheme to support youth projects across all regions. UNESCO will support youth-led projects that address challenges affecting the well-being and development of young people and their communities. Grants between US$5,000 and US$10 thousand will be awarded to young leaders, entrepreneurs, and youth organizations to help them create and implement solutions for social impact. Audubon Naturalist Society — Small Grants for Conservation Projects
The Crowder-Messersmith Conservation Fund makes grants for local conservation projects in developing countries. The grants are intended as seed money for communities and individuals. Preference is given to projects that will benefit human, plant, and animal communities of a particular habitat in an ecologically sustainable manner. Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust — Animal Protection and Welfare
The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust makes grants to small UK-registered charities in support of animal protection, animal welfare, and the conservation of wildlife. The Trust only supports UK charities but funds can be used for animal protection projects abroad. The maximum funding given in the past was £35 thousand.
