The program VALUE4HER seeks to increase incomes and employment for women in agribusinesses. This grant scheme is aimed at enabling women’s agribusinesses to try out new ideas and to spur innovations within women-owned agri-businesses. The maximum available grant per agribusiness is €9 thousand. The grant covers up to a maximum of 90% of the total project budget. European Commission — Sustainable Energy Policy in the Marshall Islands
The objective of this call for proposals is to support the implementation of a sustainable energy policy. Proposals should support atoll local governments and community groups to improve their energy management, which includes investment plans for renewable energy. Grants under this call range from €95 thousand to €220 thousand. Eligibility extends to non-profit organizations established in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Oriental Bird Club — Bird Conservation in Asia
The OBC Conservation Fund makes grants for bird conservation in Asia. Grant-making priorities are projects that benefit globally threatened bird species; that conserve threatened bird habitats; and that are led by Asian residents. Small Conservation Awards are up to £1,500 for projects of 12-18 months, with applications before 31 March of each year. IIDEA — Regional Integration Projects in East Africa
IIDEA invites organizations from East Africa to submit small-scale regional integration projects in agriculture, and other themes. Projects should focus on the needs of Youth and Women in the region. Australian Government — Australian Aid: Friendship Grants (Round 2)
The Australian Aid: Friendship Grants program supports organisations from across Australia and provides funding for aid activities in the Indo-Pacific. Eligible Australian community organisations are encouraged to apply for funding of AU$30 thousand to AU$60 thousand in three annual grant rounds. The program funds development activities that strengthen an overseas community’s capacity or socio-economic situation and improve the lives of poor and vulnerable people. Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas Network — Grants for Small Projects 2020-2021
MedPAN launches a new call for small projects to support Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in the Mediterranean. The grants will reinforce the management of MPAs from the perspective of integrated coastal zone management and sustainable financing. They will also promote habitat mapping and the protection of marine turtles. MedPAN’s contribution will be €20 thousand per project (matching contributions of 25 % are required). The eligible countries are Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Montenegro, Tunisia, and Turkey. Netherlands Enterprise Agency — Promoting the Agricultural and Fisheries Sector
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency, the SDG Partnership facility (SDGP), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aim to help achieve the following sustainable development goals in developing countries. Focus areas under this call include promoting economic growth in the agricultural and fisheries sector through sustainable and climate-resilient food production systems, among others. Applicants can apply for a subsidy of min. €500 thousand and max. €3 million per project. French Agency for Development — Blue Economy in Sri Lanka
The French Agency for Development (AFD) seeks applications from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), preferably in partnership with other international/local non-profit organizations, to enhance the quality of the coastal environment and to contribute in developing the Sri Lankan Blue Economy potential. Proposed projects under this call may focus on, but are not limited to, environmental education, awareness and advocacy, and the preservation of the coastal biodiversity and natural heritage.
