Priority will be given to projects that use multi-sensor monitoring systems, advance surveillance/alarm systems for protected areas, or develop new tools and capabilities needed to generate data. Society of Wetland Scientists — Graduate Research Fellowship
The SWS Wetland Ambassadors Program is a student research program that provides graduate students with the opportunity to travel to another country and conduct wetland research. A grant of up to US$5 thousand will be awarded by SWS, while hosting institutions may provide for lab costs, meal plans, or room and board during the internship. The “young scientists’ mobility grant” aims to develop new research partnerships and collaborations between Switzerland and MENA countries. Priority countries under this call are: Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates. Mobility grants can be awarded to young scientists who hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree (no PhD) and have less than 6 years of professional research experience. The call is open for activities and research visits in all scientific disciplines and fields of research.
