The Future for Nature Award aims to stimulate a new generation of nature conservation leaders. The award is made to candidates of any nationality or residence, not older than age 35, who have achieved substantial and long-term benefit to the conservation status of one or more animal and/or plant species, or that of a specific population. Work-related to the conservation and protection of endangered species is a priority. The award is made to individuals, not organizations. Each of the three award winners will be given a cash prize and a sculpture. The winners are expected to invest their prize of €50 thousand in a conservation project of their own choice. Amphibian Survival Alliance — Partnerships for Amphibian Conservation
The Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA) makes grants to evidence-based conservation projects that address key threats to amphibians and raise awareness. AArk Program Grants are intended to support conservation projects for amphibian species that cannot currently be saved in the wild, with a primary focus on ex situ actions, and in partnership with appropriate field activities. Funded programs will receive up to US$7,000 in the first year. Additional funds will be available for year 2 (up to US$5,000) and year 3 (up to US$3,000). Centre for Science and Environment — Green School Activation Program
The Green School Activation Program (GSAP) is aimed at promoting green education through a whole-school approach in secondary schools. GSAP is designed to restore green and healthy learning environments, enhance food security through vertical gardens, strengthen climate education, and embed circular economy practices in schools. German Academic Exchange Service — Postgraduate Courses in Germany 2026-2027
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships to qualified individuals from eligible developing countries for post-graduate studies at German universities in development-related subjects. The program (EPOS) is open to individuals who have completed their previous academic degrees no longer than six years previously; who have at least two years of professional experience; and who are nationals of countries receiving official development assistance (DAC list of the OECD). The available courses range across water resources; renewable energy; land management and tenure; agricultural sciences; forest sciences; ecology; nature conservation; environmental governance; and many others. Sahee Foundation — Development in Swaziland and Peru
The Sahee Foundation makes grants for agriculture, health, education, and the environment in Swaziland and Peru. Sahee selects its partners among regional organizations that are well integrated in these target countries, as well as among local groups in Swaziland and Peru that launch development projects. The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Morocco. The priorities under this call include women’s economic rights, decent jobs, entrepreneurship, environment, and climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as on water management. The average contribution is C$15 thousand to C$20 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Future Blue Youth Council — True Blue Fellowship
The True Blue Fellowship connects and empowers youth around the world to leverage the creative arts to enact change in local communities to safeguard the ocean, waterways, and the climate. The Fellowship provides mentorship, capacity building, and funding of up to $2,500 for 10 youth-led projects that address ocean, waterways, or climate change issues in their local communities. MDPI, a publisher of peer-reviewed, open-access journals, invites applications and nominations for the Sustainability 2025 Young Investigator Award. The winner will receive CHF 2000.
