Earth Company — Impact Hero 2026

Each year, Earth Company selects one Impact Hero that has the potential to transform the future of developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Impact Heroes are visionary leaders who tackle some of the most pressing social and environmental challenges and make transformative changes to the communities they serve. Earth Company provides 3 years of support through leadership coaching, fundraising, marketing, and business development. Eligibility extends to everybody and all forms of organizations. Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok — Small-Scale Local Projects in Thailand and Laos

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok invites applications for small-scale development projects from organizations in Thailand or Laos. Projects and development activities in the areas of environment, agriculture, health, education, and social services are welcome. The Czech Republic will provide between US$ 9,500 and US$ 23 thousand per project. Non-profit organizations, educational institutions, or community groups are welcome to apply. Hatch Blue — Women in Ocean Food

The Women in Ocean Food Innovation Studio is a 12‑month accelerator for female founders and leadership teams across the blue economy—covering sustainable aquaculture, marine biotech, seafood value chains, ocean conservation, and blue carbon. The program provides tailored business strategy support, mentorship from global industry experts, post‑program guidance, and access to investor networks. Travel, accommodation, and meals are fully covered for two team members. Nagao Natural Environment Foundation — Support for Young Scientists from Asia-Pacific

The Nagao Natural Environment Foundation (NEF) aims to build the capacity of young scientists in developing countries of the Asia-Pacific region. Young researchers (under 40 years old) can submit fieldwork-based projects in the areas of biology; biodiversity; wildlife and restoration of ecosystems; and relationships between nature and humans. Aspire Coronation Trust Foundation — Changemakers Innovation Challenge

The Aspire Coronation Trust (ACT) Foundation seeks applications for the Changemakers Innovation Challenge. The challenge is open to non-profits and social enterprises across Africa who are using technological/digital tools to create innovative social solutions. Focus areas include health, environment, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Proposed projects must have a maximum life cycle of 12 months and benefit African communities. Mesoamerican Reef Fund — Small Grants

The Mesoamerican Reef Fund (MAR Fund) announces its annual request for proposals with two available financial windows: Traditional Small Grants and Reef Rescue Initiative. Traditional Small Grants support Coastal and Marine resources management and protection in the Mesoamerican Reef (MAR). Reef Rescue Initiative supports and strengthens science-based restoration, repopulation, and rehabilitation of coral reefs in the MAR region. The proposals to be presented may have a duration of up to two years. Funding ranges from US$30 thousand to US$50 thousand. At least 25% of the total budget must come from other sources, as a match to the requested funds. All coral reefs within the MAR region are eligible. UNU Global AI Network — Global Youth AI Future Innovation Competition

The Global Youth AI Future Innovation Competition invites individuals, teams, organizations, and startups from around the world to submit AI-driven solutions focused on the theme “AI for the Environment: Ecological Sustainability and the Green Transition.” Applications are open for proposals that address one or more of four tracks: climate change adaptation; environmental protection and conservation; clean energy; and AI for less developed countries.The application deadline is 15 September 2025. Society for Conservation Biology — Graduate Student Research Fellowship

The Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) supports graduate students whose research advances the science and practice of conserving biological diversity. The Fellowship Awards will support field work, including travel, materials or equipment required to conduct research. Students must demonstrate financial need toward completion of a graduate degree to receive US$1,000 in support of their research project. The deadline to submit your materials is 15 September 2025. Bat Conservation International — Student Research Scholarships for Bat Conservation

Bat Conservation International (BCI) requests proposals from student researchers seeking financial support for bat conservation research projects. Research may focus on human-caused environmental changes (such as land development or climate change on bats), bat-human conflicts (such as hunting, roost disturbance, and persecution), or behavioral or ecological questions that aid the protection of a bat species. The geographical scope is Latin America and the Caribbean; Africa and its adjacent islands; and globally. BCI anticipates granting up to US$3,000 each. Additional funding is available through special awards. The scholarship is only open to students who are registered with a recognized academic institution. Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust — Animal Protection and Welfare

The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust makes grants to small UK-registered charities in support of animal protection, animal welfare, and the conservation of wildlife. The Trust only supports UK charities but funds can be used for animal protection projects abroad. The maximum funding given in the past was £35 thousand.
