Free Press Unlimited announces two Climate Change Fellowship Programs for journalists in the Middle East and North Africa. The Fellowship Programs will enable 20 fellows to tell a better climate story and inform their audience by creating stories that go beyond highlighting the problem and come with constructive solutions. The fellowship consists of training and individual coaching. All the fellows will receive financial support of €500. Eligible individuals must be journalists or a graduate in journalism operating in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, or Tunisia. The program will provide teachers with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to effectively teach their students about the SDGs. The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) invites journalists from Nairobi, Kenya to join a media workshop on air pollution (February 2024). The Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association (WIOMSA) launches a regional call for proposals to support demonstrative field actions aimed at fostering the restoration, the management and the sustainable use of marine and coastal ecosystems.
