UN-Habitat and its partners are sponsoring a conference in Canada, scheduled for March 2018, on the subject of cities and the science of climate change. The conference will assess the current state of academic and practice-based knowledge about climate change, identifying gaps and sharing best practices. The conference organizers welcome proposals for events and abstracts for oral sessions. The conference has limited funding available to support the travel of selected applicants from developing countries. Additional funds may be mobilized for the participation of early-career scientists and professionals. The submission deadline is 06 October 2017.
